The trade's "smartest buy" of the estate's recent history, the 2019 pairs great-vintage density with newfound athleticism. Decanter and James Suckling scored it 98, Vinous 97. Less new oak than in past years lets high-definition wild cherry, boysenberry and iris shine over powdered-stone tannins and a saline, mouthwatering finish.
