Refund policy
At World Class Wine, we’re committed to providing rare and exceptional wines with precision and care. If there’s an issue with your order, or you’re unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please email us at care@worldclasswine.us. Be sure to include details and, when applicable, photos. Every case is assessed individually, and we aim to resolve concerns quickly and fairly.
In some cases, we may request that bottles in question—opened or sealed—be returned to us for inspection or evaluation by our suppliers.
What Qualifies for a Return
We may approve returns under the following conditions:

An incorrect producer or vintage was delivered.

You received the wrong bottle format (e.g., 750ml instead of magnum).

The designation or bottling was not what you ordered (e.g., different vineyard).

The wine shipped was from the wrong appellation or classification (e.g., a Premier Cru instead of a Grand Cru).

Bottles arrived damaged or leaking.
Note: For claims involving damaged bottles, photos showing the condition and barcode label must be emailed to care@worldclasswine.us within 24 hours of delivery to qualify for consideration.
What Does Not Qualify
We are unable to accept returns under the following circumstances:

Wines that are no longer wanted, were gifted, or were purchased in excess.

Damage sustained after delivery, including those caused by heat, failed delivery attempts, or improper storage.

Bottles that are corked or otherwise flawed (this is a production issue, not a fault of storage or shipping).

Wines over 10 years old or orders shipped internationally are considered final sale.

Orders that are confiscated or blocked due to alcohol shipping restrictions are not refundable.
Please note: It is your responsibility to be aware of and comply with any local laws regarding the shipment and receipt of alcoholic beverages.
Cancellations & Fees

A 3% transaction fee applies to all order cancellations, due to credit card processing costs we incur immediately upon purchase.

Orders cancelled more than 7 days after placement will also be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Once an order has shipped, it is considered final and cannot be cancelled.
Returns initiated more than 7 days after receipt may also incur a 15% restocking charge to account for inventory handling and lost sales opportunities.
World Class Wine reserves the right to cancel or refuse any transaction at our discretion. We value our collector clients and want every purchase to feel seamless—so if anything isn’t right, let us know, and we’ll do our best to make it right.
